Can you tell the difference by looking at them?
Lab-grown diamonds display same chemical and optical characteristics of a natural diamonds because they consist of the same carbon atoms.
Even a trained Graduate Gemologist can’t tell the difference without specialized equipment.
Do Lab-Grown diamonds have certifications?
Our lab-grown diamonds come with a report (separate from the appraisal) done by an independent laboratory such as GIA or IGI. Since they are the same chemically as natural diamonds, the report will have all of the same categories. Our lab-grown diamonds will also have their report number laser inscribed onto the stone itself.
How are Lab-Grown diamonds created?
Should I Chose a Natural or Lab-Grown Diamond?
When choosing between a natural or lab-created diamond, your decision comes down to personal preference. Lab-created diamonds come at a much lower price, so you can get a larger stone for less money. In many cases, the cut on lab-created diamonds is better than that of natural diamonds, so you will see more sparkle and shine. However, lab-created diamonds retain little to no monetary value after purchase and are virtually impossible to resell. If you’re concerned about your diamond retaining its value over time, or appreciate the sentimental value of a stone that took millions of years to grow, you may want to consider a natural diamond.
